So, you might think, given my “lifestyle choices,” I would be writing this piece to explain why everyone should support same-sex marriage. But you would be wrong. Because the longer I’m a part of the gay agenda, the more problems I find with it.   And even Americans who oppose same-sex marriage don't necessarily support a constitutional ban. In a May poll, only 33 percent of Americans supported the federal gay marriage ban, with 49 percent specifically opposing it (holding the view that marriage should be a state issue), with 18 percent undecided.

Gay Marriage was first published by Henry Colt and Company in Reception. Gay Marriage received a positive review in The Economist, which described the book as a "cool, articulate, poignant plea in favour of gay marriage" and "a powerful book, clear, tolerant and persuasive, never ranting or self-pitying". E. J.   Gay marriage radicals go on to argue that marriage is fundamentally a religious rite; they view marriage exclusively in religious terms. If this is true, then the legalization gay marriage is a disrespect and unjustified invasion of the state because of religion's traditional role in consecrating marriages and presiding over wedding ceremonies.

Proponents of gay marriage give one of the most fundamental arguments for the same: when it comes to choice and individuality, we all have our own rights.

It should be the individual’s choice to marry someone of his wish. Any discrimination against a section of people with different sexual orientation amounts to violation of basic human rights.

Gay marriage is the institutionalization of the rejection of God. None of this should be a surprise for those who know the Scriptures. It is good and right to encourage the governing authorities to discourage sin. It is not good to become alarmist.

Perhaps gay marriage does herald the end of the world, but that's what we've been looking forward. Nature-themed arguments against gay marriage say little about the societal institution of marriage but reveal a lot about the homophobia and heterosexism of those who present such arguments.
